I use my memory loss privileges to re-watch/read media I’ve definitely consumed before but only have a vague recollection of. I know there’s a big audience for “react to new media” type things but I think re-experiences come with their own unique perspective. Like, I’ve been watching Queer as Folk for the first time since it first aired, and the queer landscape has changed SO MUCH since then, and yet it also hasn’t… it would be interesting to do a commentary on it from a 2025 perspective but also as someone whose queer world was opened up by the original airing of the show way back when.
So, here we are.
